Trinidad
Unser
kleines Zimmer ohne Fenster war so schwül und morgens bereits um 6 Uhr machte
sich die Frau des Hauses temperamentvoll in der Küche zu schaffen, so dass wir
uns nach nur ein paar Stunden Schlaf aufmachten um im Städtchen etwas zu
frühstücken. Da es uns hier in Trinidad ausserordentlich gut gefiel,
beschlossen wir noch eine weitere Nacht zu bleiben - jedoch in einer andern
Casa!

and the woman of
the house created lots of noise in the kitchen already
at 6 am, so that we got up
after only a few hours of sleep to have breakfast somewhere in town. But because
we liked it here in Trinidad very much, we decided to stay another night -
but in another casa!

Danach schlenderten wir zum nächsten Reisebüro um ein Hotel am Strand zu buchen, die waren jedoch alle voll. Stattdessen buchen wir ein Hotel in Havanna für die letzten 3 Nächte, nach unserer Erfahrung kostet es so die Hälfte!
We strolled through town thereafter to the next travel agent to book a hotel on the beach, but they were all fully booked. Instead we booked a hotel in Havana for the last 3 nights, already before we have made the experience that it costs half this way!

Darauf
luden wir unsere Koffer ins Auto und fuhren erst einmal in eine Werkstatt um
den Pneu reparieren lassen. So wie es aussah, wurde dieser schon mehrmals
geflickt!
Unsere neue Unterkunft fanden wir im Casa Norelvis y Liubetsy, welche in meinem Reiseführer empfohlen wird und tatsächlich ein Kleinod etwa 500 m vom Zentrum entfernt ist! Da sieht man wieder welche Unterschiede Unterkünfte für CUC 25 haben können...
Then we
loaded our bags into the car and
drove to the next workshop to have our punctured tyre repaired. It looked as if it has been repaired already several times!
We found our new accommodation at Casa Norelvis
y Liubetsy, which
is recommended in my guide book and indeed
a gem about 500 meters from the center!

Nachdem
wir auf der Bank unsere Portemonnaies mit CUC aufgefüllt, die Post aufgesucht
und uns mit Wasser eingedeckt hatten, fuhren wir zum Strand Playa de
Ancon, wo wir ein paar Stunden im Schatten einnickten.
After we had filled
up our wallets CUC at the bank,
visited the post office and stocked up with water, we
drove to the beach Playa de Ancon, where we
dozed off a couple of hours in the shade.

Am
späteren Nachmittag durchstöberten wir nochmals das Städtchen nach Fotomotiven
und live Musik...
Later in the afternoon we again strolled
through town in search of subjects to shoot photos of and
live music...

genossen wir auf der Terrasse des hübschen Restaurant La Ceiba - Trinidad ist in jeder Hinsicht ein Juwel!
