Die strahlende Sonne liess uns das Zimmer schon vor 8 Uhr verlassen… wir joggten dem Strand entlang und schwammen im fantastischen warmen und klaren Meer  – was für ein Privileg den Tag so beginnen zu dürfen! Danach genossen wir ein ausgiebiges Frühstück.

Bright sunshine made us leave our room already before 8 am… we went for a run along the beach and had a swim in the fantastic warm and clear sea – what a privilege to be able to start the day like this! Thereafter we enjoyed an extensive breakfast.

Den Nachmittag verbrachten wir am Strand um Sonne aufzutanken und auszuruhen… Das war weiter nicht schwierig bei angenehmen Temperaturen und einer stetigen Brise! : )

We spent the afternoon at the beach, sun tanned and relaxed… This was nothing but easy with the pleasant temperatures and a steady breeze! : )

Um 17 Uhr beschlossen wir die restlichen Cayos de la Herradura zu erkunden und fuhren über Cayo Ensenachos nach Cayo Santa Maria. Aber ausser grossen Hotelanlagen und einem künstlichen Dorf erwartete uns nichts… so dass wir eine Stunde später wieder in unserem Hotelrestaurant sassen und nach ein paar Pina Coladas unser Abendessen dort einnahmen.

At 5 pm we decided to explore the remaining Cayos de la Herradura and drove via Cayo Ensenachos to Cayo Santa Maria. But except of big hotel resorts and an artificial village there was nothing to see… so that we found ourselves in our hotel restaurant an hour later and had our dinner there after a couple of Pina Coladas.
